This project will allow you to research and discover the Regions of the United States of America.  You will be able to choose a project and create a multi-media slide show while exploring the following:

      Northeast Region, Midwest Region, Western Region, Southwest Region, Southeast Region

      States and Capitals within a Region

      Waterways and Landforms within a Region

      Ecosystems within a Region

      Climate and Weather within a Region

      Culture

Please choose one of the following projects.

Jobs

The US Travel Channel has hired you to be their newest anchor.  They are developing a new TV series called Come Follow Me.  Your job is to create a presentation persuading people to travel to a specific Region including highlights of the states, their capitals, interesting landforms, ecosystems, and climate. 

The Windy and Stormy Advertising Agency has hired you to create a public service announcement highlighting a Region and its climate.  Your job is to create a commercial to air on national television during the Super Bowl.  The message should focus on safety before, during, and after natural disasters common to that Region.   

The Center for Cultural Diversity is hosting a Cultural Fair to highlight the diversity within the 5 Regions of the United States.  Your job is to create a multi-media presentation focusing on the wide variety of cultures within one Region.

Science Town has hired you to create a virtual exhibit comparing and contrasting the landforms (including the bodies of water) and the animal life in their ecosystems within 2 of the 5 Regions.

The American Weather Channel has hired you as their new meteorologist.  They would like for you to create a presentation highlighting a new series focusing on different weather patterns typical to each of the 5 Regions.
