The school collects empty business or personal printer cartridges, cell phones, AND NOW we can collect iPods and Laptops.  

 If If you know of any businesses that would give us their empty cartridges, please contact them.  Please send any cartridges to the office or Mrs. Roennigke. The school needs your used printer toner cartridges and old cell phones. .  For more information about the program you can go to  www.oprausa.com for information about the company we send the cartridges to. 

 

Global Re-Source Funding has some great news to heat up your recycling program this winter with the addition of…..iPods and Laptops!  

 

iPods are the hot new tech gadget and just like cell phones, their features and capabilities keep growing model after model, increasing the demand for new, upgraded models.  Many die out after a while as well, and are both difficult and expensive to have repaired. 


 

laptop Laptops are also being built now with newer and better technology and processing speeds, and are now being tossed out on a 1 to 1 basis.  Meaning, for every laptop purchased today, one is being discarded.  Batteries and power cords also leak dangerous toxins into landfills like cell phone batteries. 

 


Use these new items to help increase activity with your recycling/fundraising program.   Getting the word out about our new accepted recyclables should increase participant’s excitement and increase donations of all accepted items.

Global Re-Source Funding is kicking off the launch of iPod recycling with a contest that's sure to be music to your ears.

  • For every 10 iPods your organization sends in, you will be entered into a drawing to win an Apple MacBook ! That's a prize valued at over $1000!

We don't want to stop there...GRF wants to give out as many MacBooks as we can.

  • That's why for every 1000 additional iPods we receive collectively by June 1st, 2008, Global Re-Source Funding is going to draw another winning organization. If we receive 10,000 iPods, we'll give away 11 MacBooks to qualifying winning groups.
