St. Joseph School Lunch Menu
2009-2010

FAQs... How do we meet nutrition guidelines as required by the USDA?  We offer many healthy choices including nonfat
milk (chocolate skim, 1% white), light fat salad dressings, corn dogs made from lower fat turkey, pizza made with lowfat cheese.
We select fruit products packed in juice with no added sugar.  In addition, we do not add any butter or salt to vegetables.
Our brownies and brownie cookies are low-fat.  Potato products are all oven fried.  We are offering more whole grain products.
All these considerations allow Food & Nutrition Services to serve our customers a pleasing menu, that follows the USDA requirements.

REMINDER:  Lunches are Pre-Pay.  You will be notified twice monthly of current balances.  Daily reminders will be sent to those with negative balances.

Pre-payment for all student cafeteria purchases is required.  Please have enough money in student accounts to cover purchases.  Students should give
the payment to their homeroom teachers first thing in the morning, in an envelope marked with the student's name, class, i.e. (K-1) and designation "LUNCH MONEY."  Parents may also turn money in at the reception desk or Accounting Office, marked as previously mentioned.

All parents will receive updates on current balances on the 15th and the end of the month.  Notices will be received daily on unpaid balances.

The Cafeteria Staff is looking forward to a great school year with all the students!

Parents are welcome to eat with their students. No fast food is allowed in the cafeteria.
