Who was the ruler of the dinosaur world? He was huge and powerful!  From head to tail he was fifty feet long.  He was the mighty Tyrannosaurus!

The Tyrannosaurus Rex eats meat or other dinosuars.  This kind of dinosaur is called a carnivore

The Tyrannosaurus lived about 70 million years ago or about 68 million B.C.  He lived in the Cretaceous Period.

How tall was he?  He was about 20 feelt tall. He was VERY tall.  Tyrannosaurus means "King of the Typrant Lizards."

Now that the Tyrannosaurus is extinct, it is hard to believe he once ruled the Earth.
