Special Education Advisory Council Community... Belonging...Acceptance

The education of children with special needs in Catholic schools requires acceptance, belonging, and community with open hearts and open minds.

At baptism, we are welcomed into our parish family. Parish members with disabilities and their families are welcomed as they seek the benefits of a Catholic education. Our schools continue to meet spiritual, educational, social, physical, and emotional needs of every student so that they may develop to the best of their abilities.

This philosophy in our Catholic schools enhances each and every community. Students and teachers alike are living examples of acceptance of people's differences. All students, with and without disabilities, learn that as a community, we value all humanity.
