Math Facts--

Classroom Standard: I will treat you with respect and common courtesy and I expect the same from you towards me and your classmates.

All homework will be due at the beginning of the day in your homeroom. (Not at the beginning of my class) Homework turned in one day late is 50% off, two days late it is a zero.

Everyone should be in their seat when the bell rings ready for class. The time before the bell should be used to sharpen pencils and get materials ready for class.

Passes will be given out of class for bathroom emergencies, to go to the office for an important reason or to go to the nurse.

Grading Scale:

94-100% A
93-87% B
86-75% C
74-68% D
Below 67%- Failing

6th, 7th, 8th grade: 10% of grade is Participation
30% homework
20% Quizzes
30% Tests
10% Daily Assignments

Absences and make up work: If you know you are going to be gone, please let me know as early as you can so I can give you homework assignments and explain anything you may need to know. If you have an excused absence please come see me as soon as you are back at school so we can talk about what you missed and your assignments. You will have two days to make up assignments for every one day you missed. If you have an unexcused absence you will not be allowed to make up work.
